Uniswap Founder: "Liquidity Mining Derivatives Proposal" Enters Final Governance Vote

BlockBeats News, on December 18th, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams stated on social media that the "Uniswap Fee Switch Launch" proposal has entered the final governance voting stage. The vote will start at 10:30 PM Eastern Time on December 19th and end on December 25th.

Hayden Adams stated that if passed, after a 2-day period: 1 billion UNI will be burned, and the v2 and v3 fee switches will be activated on the mainnet, initiating the burning of UNI tokens and Unichain fees.

On November 11th, Uniswap Labs and the Uniswap Foundation jointly proposed a governance proposal aimed at activating the protocol fee switch to establish a long-term operational model for the Uniswap ecosystem, allowing protocol usage to drive UNI burning and enabling Uniswap Labs to focus on protocol development and growth.
